The short version. If you join the waitlist we collect two things: your restaurant's name and your email address. We use them to contact you about early access to Lumera. We don't sell them, we don't advertise with them, and you can have them deleted at any time by emailing hello@lumera-app.com.

Who we are

Lumera AI ("Lumera", "we", "us") operates this website at lumera-app.com. This policy explains what personal data the website collects and what we do with it. It covers this website only.

What we collect

When you submit the waitlist form, you give us:

Restaurant name — the business you're enquiring on behalf of.
Email address — so we can reply to you.

That is the entire form. We don't ask for a phone number, an address, a payment method or a password, and there is no account to create.

Our hosting provider (Amazon CloudFront) also processes standard technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — as part of serving and securing the site. This is ordinary web-server logging, not a profile of you.

What we don't collect

No analytics or advertising scripts run on this site.
No tracking, advertising or third-party cookies are set.
We don't build visitor profiles, and we don't do cross-site tracking.

The site stores two small preferences in your browser's local storage — your chosen language and colour theme. These never leave your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Why we're allowed to use it

Under the GDPR, our legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.

Who else sees it

Google — the waitlist form posts to Google Forms, and submissions are stored in Google Sheets on our Google account. Google processes this data on our behalf under their terms.
Amazon Web Services — hosts and delivers this website.
Google Fonts — the page loads typefaces from fonts.gstatic.com, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone else. These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until we launch and have finished contacting the list, or for 24 months from submission — whichever comes first — after which we delete them. If you ask us to delete your entry sooner, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@lumera-app.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK and you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Waitlist submissions are transmitted encrypted and stored in our Google account, which is access-restricted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This is a business product. The site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people already on the waitlist will be sent by email.
